Typical Day in the Role:
The main function of an IT Project Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, with responsibilities that include project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
• Program Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of the eFX program, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
• Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the eFX trading platform and improve client experience.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of developers and analysts providing guidance and support to achieve program goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, address issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the eFX program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of the eFX platform, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the eFX program.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• Overall years if experience 10+ in IT Project Management and recent experience in Capital Markets – Commodities, FX Options & Derivatives Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in eFX trading or program management within a financial institution.
• 5+ years Strong Experience in eFX trading platforms, algorithms, and market structure
• Expertise with regulatory requirements and compliance in the FX market.

• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Working experience with eFX platforms such as Celer and smartTrade is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is desirable.
• KX experience is an asset.
