Project:
CX Innovations is seeking a UX Designer to assist with the Customer Onboarding Platform (COP) used across the Bank by thousands of advisors to onboard customers and/or retail products. This platform is the preeminent onboarding platform of the Canadian Retail Banking with most of all new accounts originated through COP. Ongoing enhancements to this platform will result in a more efficient and enjoyable experience for the advisor and customer created through streamlining UX to allow for more advice-based conversations.

Typical Day in Role
– You will greatly influence the digital experience for the Bank’s main retail product onboarding platform across the Canada user by advisors and shared with customers and prospects daily.
– You will meticulously consider user interactions and journeys and act as an advocate for the constant improvement of both.
– You will exercise a high level of technical acuity with a thorough understanding of front-end technologies and will factor it into your work limitations and constraints knowing when to push boundaries.
– You will produce compelling designs to illustrate concepts iteratively and to be able to provide detailed specifications for developers.
– You will advocate for accessible design principles and implementation.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 1-2 years of hands on experience designing with Adobe Creative Suite of products, FIGMA/Sketch or similar software.
2) Ability to prototype in a rapid development environment – demonstrated in recent project work
4) 1-2 years of experience working on hands-on interactive customer experience design
5) 1-2 years of experience working in an agile and cross-collaboration environment.

Nice-To-Have Skills:
– Experience coding in HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript.
– Bilingual English – French
– Background in financial-related product fields.

Soft Skills
– Ability to communicate using rapid visual design techniques
– Comfortable working in a self-guided manner.
– Comfortable working within tight timeframes and with working creatively within specific constraints.
– Ability to work within a brand and style toolkit.
– A fast learner who has an appetite to learn what’s behind both simple and complex financial solutions
– A positive and resilient personality.
– You must be able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.

Degrees or certifications:
– Degrees in marketing, graphic design, or arts/design focused majors are preferred
