Technical Analyst

Typical Day in Role:
– Conduct thorough technical analysis of both new and existing controls. This includes evaluating attributes for classifying, implementing, and monitoring these controls to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
– Play a critical role in fulfilling obligations related to US Reg Remediation and Promontory findings. Ensure all activities are completed within the committed timeline to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
– Develop and implement solutions using low-code tools such as PowerPlatforms, Power BI, Power Automate, and other similar technologies. These solutions should enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of control processes.
– Manage key deliverables and perform detailed analysis to support project goals. Ensure that all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
– Contribute to various project initiatives both individually and as part of a team. Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
– Perform technical analysis of technology controls and processes. Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to optimize control mechanisms and ensure robust compliance.
– Implement monitoring mechanisms to track the performance of controls. Use tools like Power BI to create reports and dashboards that provide insights into control effectiveness and compliance status.
– Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, internal teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of control measures.
– Document technical analysis, solutions, and processes clearly and comprehensively. Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on new controls and solutions.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1) 8 years of Experience as a Technical Analyst
2) Experience working with large Text based Data Sets
3) Experienced with Power Platforms (including Power BI)
Nice to Have Skills:
1) Prior Financial Institution Experience

Soft Skills:
1) Strong Analytical Mindset
2) Stakeholder communication experience
3) Time Management Experience
Education:
– Bachelor degree in a related field
