Senior Business Analyst – Payments
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-performing team delivering strategic payments modernization initiatives within a complex, regulated enterprise environment.
This role will play a key part in supporting the evolution of digital payment capabilities, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and future payment modernization initiatives. Working closely with Product, Technology, and Project Delivery teams, you will help shape business solutions that enhance customer experience while supporting long-term organizational objectives.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deliver strategic payment initiatives.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate complex business and functional requirements.
- Develop user stories, business process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, QA teams, and external partners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution design, and release planning activities.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, and business readiness activities.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of initiatives within a hybrid Agile and Waterfall environment.
Your Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or in a hybrid BA/Product role.
- Experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives within a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of payments, digital banking, financial services, or payment modernization initiatives.
- Experience gathering and documenting complex business and functional requirements.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating user stories, process maps, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
