Story Behind the Need
Typical Day in Role:
• Reporting to a Project Manager, you will play a critical part in helping the team support the various technologies within our Global Network. You will be expected to be a part of the teams’ rotational on call duties and, when required, be a part of after-hours project deployments in the mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Working with leading edge technologies to incorporate complex network solutions, as well as work with other technology teams to contribute to an overall solution
• Being hands-on during mid to complex project deployments into production. This will include the support of assigned systems by acting as an internal consultant on assigned infrastructure and providing suggestions for viable solutions to systems problems of high complexity.
• Being challenged with complex problem solving in time sensitive situations to reduce system downtime and customer impact.
•Understanding how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
•Highly interested in software-defining Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI and VMWare NSX and want to help drive the road-map and adoption within a large-scale enterprise network.
• Getting in on the Cloud floor as the team gets more hands on with the network in the Public Cloud, including environments like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure and IBM SoftLayer.
• Implementing approximately 250 firewall policies/rules and managing over 200 firewall cluster infrastructures
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
10 years of previous experience in management of largescale enterprise networks
• 3 years’ Experience in firewall administration such as Cisco (Firepower and FTD) & Fortinet (Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer)
• 3 years’ experience in Cloud technologies (Azure, Google cloud, Amazon)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience in Algosec is nice to have.
• Spanish is an asset.
• Fortinet NSE 4 or Associated certification desirable

Best VS. Average Candidate:
Experience in Firewall rules, Firewall administration, Firewall configuration (migration) and GCP, Azure or AWS. The candidate will be implementing approximately 250 firewall policies/rules and managing over 200 firewall cluster infrastructures
