IT Security Analyst
Typical Day in Role:
• Define a clear definition of privileged accounts and control operating procedures for key platforms: Windows, UNIX, AD, AS400, mainframe
• Communicate and socialize the PAM definition with the business stakeholders and administrators that manage privileged access
• Develop reports to provide insight into privileged access request and provisioning volumes à highlights gaps between privileged account provisioned but not onboarded to PAM
• Define reports on inventory by asset type (e.g., % of windows servers with at least one account vaulted in PAS) and develop KPI based reporting to provide insight to PAM team
• Identify the usage scenarios of privileged accounts to determine where session management can be enforced
• Provide training & communication to the privileged users
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. At least 5 years of technical experience in information technology or information security
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Active Directory (managing built-in privileged groups, AD delegation understanding, ability to draft guidelines of management of highly privileged domain accounts)
3. 4+ years experience in the administration of Privileged Access Management tools like CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust
4. Hands-on experience in access management on Windows and Unix operating systems
5. 3+ years of experience or background in PowerShell scripting and basic understanding of SQL queries
6. Proficiency in MS Excel
Nice to Have Skills:
• Previous experience within Privileged Access and Management background
• In depth knowledge of AD infrastructure knowledge
• Background on AS400 and Mainframe systems
Soft Skills:
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
• Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high scale project
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
