Role: IT Security Analyst

Story Behind the Need
• Business group: GIAM Logical Access Control is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to work on the AD Consolidation Project, which involves consolidating Active Directory domains from various parts of the bank and acquisitions into a few or single production domains to simplify the AD management across the bank. The project is still in the initial phases.

Typical Day in Role
• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles
• Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
• Participate in security compliance efforts
• Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) Overall 5+ years of experience as a Security Analyst
2) Advanced Active Directory experience managing users, groups and permissions – 5+ years of hands on experience
3) Strong Communication Skills – verbal & written (will be working closely with internal bank users)
4) Eligible to transition to FTE
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Experience managing tickets in ServiceNow
– Experience in other LDAP solutions*
– Spanish speaking
– Powershell Scripting
– FI/Banking experience
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
Candidate Review & Selection
• 2 Step Process: 2 in-person interviews – first with Senior Manager, second with Senior Manager and Director
Additional Notes:
– Open to non-Canadian experience, as long as communications skills are strong
– Mainly looking for someone with extensive advanced experience with Active Directory (Experience in other LDAP solutions would also be great)
