• Proficient in knowledge of technologies and processes like Agile Software Delivery, XP practices, DevOps culture and Cloud Native Technologies.

• Provides technical direction leveraging team input and users’ feedback.

• Lead design, automation, testability of CI/CD components improvements to enhance team velocity.
• Contribute clean, tested, reusable and maintainable code to a shared codebase implementing solutions designed by the team.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of experience as a developer
2) 5+ years recent API/Web Development Experience: NodeJS, JavaScript/ES6+, HTML/CSS, React
3) 5+ years’ experience with Application Servers, Banking systems and their integration, Web Services, REST, Microservices, SpringBoot, Java 11+
4) 5+ years’ experience working with Cloud Services: Azure, GCP, or AWS
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Experience from banking industry/financial services – specifically with global payments and/or cash management an asset
2) Experience applying Design Patterns and Best Engineering Practices.
3) Experience with TDD, ATDD, BDD or any other test practice.
4) Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Shell script, Jenkins, CI/CD
Soft Skills Required:
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build and foster relationships with business partners, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners and external vendors.
• Maintain continuous improvement behaviour and commitment to expand set of skills.
Education:
Computer Science degree from a university or college, or equivalent experience
