Story Behind the Need
Business group: Team oversees the functions for the Enterprise Domains.

Team – Main delivery partners for the enterprise data domains across the Bank. Corporate Function domains that have been identified across the Bank, work with business lines – CDO partners. Also look after Governance with Data Management – final review and approver of the governance across the Enterprise.

Project: Team is currently standing up new domains – and data initiatives are being executed. Volumes have increased on both Governance side and Delivery Side. You will work on multiple projects to support domains.

You will mostly be focused of the delivery side – central POC when it comes to creating strategies, execution of data management steps. Will not focus of governance support.

Contributes to the overall success of the Data Office in ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the Bank’s Data Strategy. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Typical Day in Role:
– Champions a data driven & customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
-Works with Enterprise Data Stewards to create Data Management strategies to ensure successful implementation of use cases
-Responsible for project and portfolio level reporting for all initiatives/projects engaged with; includes tracking, status reporting, executive dashboard etc.
-Provides consultative support to business lines and project teams on the execution of data management policy, standard, processes etc., as appropriate
-Establishes and maintains stakeholder and executive management relationships to effectively influence strategic priorities
-Act as the point person to ensure the assigned initiative are accomplished from end to end perspective. This includes initiative hand off from the Data Office Business Engagement (Intake) team, project onboarding, and delivery.
-Determine data management activities, artifacts and milestones required by the project initiative team. This includes collecting information on the initiative and documents its use cases, use case description and type, use case success criteria and business purpose, and use case tier assessment. Coordinate meeting to include various Data Office experts with the project team as needed.
-Collects information on the initiative and ensures that it is aligned to the program portfolio as part of initiating the official workstream
-Hosts Kick-off Meeting with at least a high-level view of the following from the Business partner team; milestones, high-level target architecture, RACI, workflow, communication norms, and team norms. Include scrum master if applicable

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 7+ years – Delivery Management Portfolio Experience – within agile environment, and FI
2) 2-3 Years – Knowledge of Data Management Process and Best Practices
3) 3+ years’ experience with JIRA/Confluence, Sharepoint
4) Strong Relationship management Skills – business partners, IT side, teams within data office.
5) Communication Skills -written and verbal, will be communicating with stakeholders.
