Story Behind the Need: The AML Data group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to Support/Plan/Execute activities on the development and operations of Data Quality / Issue Management Process for AML Data Domain, while also collaborating with stakeholders to improve qualities of data via roadmap and remediation activities

Typical Day in Role:
– Support/Plan/Execute activities on the development/implementation/operations of AML Data Quality Monitoring (DQ) Process and Issue Management (IM) Process based on Enterprise Data Office guidelines and policies
– Deliver project artifacts such as BRD, DQ programs, Dashboards, BAT plan/cases/execution results, PIV
– Support/Plan/Execute activities on DQ/IM project activities according to AML data roadmaps and other AML initiatives
– Provides regular communications to stakeholders on DQ/IM activities and status
– Collaborate with Technology and Enterprise Data Office on DevOp activities for DQ/IM monitoring and dashboard reporting platforms
Must Have Skills/Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience with SQL and script Development and Operational experience in EDL Hadoop environment
– 5+ years of experience in designing and development dashboard reporting solutions using Tableau or Power BI
– 5+ years of experience working on AML/ATF FINTRAC related data processes
Nice to Have/Highly Preferred Skills:
– Spanish (both verbal and written) considered as asset
– The candidate should possess a strong understanding of data quality, data modelling and data analysis

– The role requires leadership skills, hands-on technical experience, and a can-do approach towards environment automation / management and continuous improvement for efficiency and cost effectiveness
– Must be reliable, proactive, results-oriented, customer-focused and attentive to details.
– Must be flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment, make quick and sound decisions under pressure
– Strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Education and Certifications:
– CAMS Certification considered as asset
– Project Management accreditation such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM considered as asset
