Hiring Manager: Director- Project Execution and Process Management
Location Address: Hybrid model – WFH & at 40 King Street W 10th Floor (40K-10) (2-3 times a week at office)

Story Behind the Need
Business group: Global Finance Optimization – represent finance initiatives from business side, partner with technology with finance initiatives, is the projects group for finance. Team is composed of finance focused professionals, so they need a pure BA to document and execute those typical BA tasks.
Project: 1.5 years project – Decommissioning a GL (SmartStream) and moving it over to another with target solutions in the PeopleSoft Space; untie everything related to SmartStream and use it as a base for target state.

Typical Day in Role:
• Participate in in discovery to hold discussions with 20 units in finance to understand state processes and map out state processes using Visio
• Assess gaps and go back for deep dive units within finance and discuss gaps between current state and target state
• Document those gaps in a Business Requirement Document (BRD), stay on top of processes and work with technology team that has their own BRD
• Understand systems side and architecture to be able to document and understand tech piece and what the Director feeds in from the business process side
Support the user acceptance testing and IST processes after the technology team designs and builds
• Coordinating meetings & communicate with senior level stakeholders (VPs and SVPs)
• Understand RACI framework and apply it in role
• Ensure that the UAT and BRD processes are correct
• Define risk factors
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers, elicits and documents requirements from business units and translates those
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a bank
2) Proven experience with MS Visio (intermediate to advance), SharePoint
3) Advanced knowledge of Excel functions (V-lookups, etc.)
4)Intermediate to advanced experience with JIRA
5) Experience with PowerBI
