Typical Day in Role
• Working in an agile environment
• Involved in the development of test plans and more detailed test cases as well as creating use cases
• Work closely with teams across multiple business units to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Communicate and report on all Business Systems activities to colleagues and management
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
• 5+ years of experience with SQL
• Working knowledge of agile project management, and risk management
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, and exercise diplomacy and judgment to effectively work with business users, project team members and technology teams.
• 2- 3 years of Banking domain experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Exposure to IBM Information Governance Catalog, Infosphere FastTrack or similar tools would be as asset.
• Liquidity Risk Reporting experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Capital Markets and financial products including retail
• Wealth management data working experience
Soft Skills:
• Good time management and organizational skills, will allow the incumbent to effectively manage small projects while planning and scheduling resources within those projects to optimize productivity.
• Must possess very good interpersonal and communication skills
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in the field such as, business administration, computer science, computer finance or related field
