Contributes to the overall success of the Data Office in ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the Bank’s Data Strategy. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
DRAP project – Data Remediation Audit Program – Data governance ensures corporate function data domains comply with the enterprise data standards.

Typical Day in Role:
• Champions a data-driven & customer culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
• Works with stakeholders to provide insightful visualizations
• Responsible for completing stakeholder engagement reporting within Jira and Power BI, with the intent to develop executive engagement dashboards
• Provides consultative support to business lines and project teams on the execution of data management policy, standards, processes, etc., as appropriate
• Establishes and maintains stakeholder and executive management relationships to effectively influence data strategic priorities
• Work with teams and scrum master to develop risk-mitigated strategies to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of re-useable datasets. Escalates blockers and issues to Data Office leadership for resolution
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring all activities conducted comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures and within the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have Skills:
1. 10 years of experience working with Power BI
2. Proven delivery experience and understanding of Enterprise Delivery Framework, Agile experience.
3. Experience with data quality dimensions
4. Experience with JIRA
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience with Collibra, Confluence, CA-PPM, MS Projects
• Knowledge of banking operations to understand and lead the implementation of strategic initiatives across several disciplines is preferred
• Spanish is an asset

• Well-developed communication skills including precise articulation of ideas and opinions to prepare detailed business cases and proposals

Education/Experience:
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related IT field required
