Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong AWS skills to join a Portfolio Management Technology team and help design and deliver modern, cloud-native solutions. This is a hands-on opportunity for a self-directed developer who enjoys solving complex problems and taking ownership from design through production. You will work directly with stakeholders, build backend services and APIs, and have the autonomy to determine the best approach to delivering high-quality solutions. What You Will Be Doing Design and deliver scalable software solutions using Python and cloud technologies Build backend services and RESTful APIs Develop cloud-native applications, with a focus on AWS Implement workflow automation and data pipelines as needed Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, documentation, deployment, and handover Own timelines and deliverables while proactively managing scope, dependencies, and risks Work directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and drive solutions to completion Communicate progress effectively and proactively identify and escalate issues What You Bring Strong Python development experience within enterprise environments Strong cloud experience, ideally AWS Experience building RESTful services and APIs Experience with CI/CD pipelines Strong unit and integration testing practices Prior consulting, advisory, or client-facing delivery experience Proven ability to work independently and deliver without close supervision Ability to navigate ambiguity, take ownership, and drive outcomes Nice to Have Experience with workflow automation, GitHub Actions, Airflow, Dash, Angular, React, Amazon QuickSight, Terraform, Jupyter notebooks, and/or capital markets is considered an asset.
