ETL Developer - Talend

Position Overview The successful candidate will not only have the opportunity to gain valuable experience at a top 5 Canadian bank, but also the opportunity to work with cross functional teams. The candidate will be working hands on with some of the latest banking technologies and forward thinking in fast paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop ETL/data integration solutions using Talend • Analyze business and data requirements • Implement scalable and efficient data engineering solutions • Drive process automation and platform improvements • Support product enhancements, QA activities and major releases • Evaluate and adopt new technologies in ETL and cloud spaces • Support change management and adoption of the Talend platform Required Qualifications • 10+ years of overall experience as a senior Developer • 4-10 years of hands-on experience with Talend ETL, Data Integration and Data Warehousing • 2+ years of Talend experience with integration to Salesforce is critical for the role. • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Linux environment • Experience with job scheduling tools such as TWS, Autosys, Control-M, etc. • Previous experience within Top Banks is preferred • Strong SQL experience Soft Skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities • Experience collaborating with business teams, architects, developers and product owners Education and Certification • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
