Business Analyst x 2
Typical Day in Role:
– Conduct analysis on the defects, prepare and update business requirement documents for automating manual adjustments in FR2052a reporting, maintain proper supporting documents and communications in the JIRA system
– Work closely with technology to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables; timely respond any questions related to the BRD from IT, US liquidity, and US liquidity risk teams
– For project releases, assist in establishing test cases, expected benchmarks, and UAT protocols within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for US Fr2052a reporting
– Document UAT test case results that have passed and failed in the JIRA system; timely communicate the testing results and status to the relevant stakeholders
– Establish a regression test protocol and validate production data after code implementation; identify any residual issues and work on solutions with technology
– Collaborate and build rapport with Project Manager, other Business Analysts, US liquidity team, US liquidity risk and IT partners
– perform testing for regular BAU release, and other ad hoc operational tasks and analyze issues from production
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of experience working at a bank doing data analysis
2) 5+ years of Experience with conducting UAT on data intensive reporting implementations involving technology changes
3) 5+ years of experience with VBA and SQL
4) Advanced expertise in MS Office suite of products (excel, word)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Good knowledge of capital market products, as well as liquidity risk reporting
2) Experience with large data programming
3) MBA, CFA or accounting designation
4)Canadian/US banking experience

Education:
Undergraduate degree in business, finance or computer science is required
