Typical Day in Role
• Creates diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.
• Gathers feedback from business partners, internal technical team and vendor to improve technical documents.
• Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it
• Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences
• Writes and edits technical documents including reference manuals and product manuals which may include screenshots and tutorials
• Plans writing processes and sets timelines and deadlines.
Recording meeting minutes for Incident Response calls and team meetings, as needed.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 8+ Years of experience in technical writing, 5+ Experience in SharePoint, Visio, JIRA
• Creating and designing a knowledge base for practical use of all Cyber security project employees. Writing document & playbooks
• Recent experience in Translating practical procedure documents into high-level management level document for audit and summary purposes.
• Assisting in updating process documents defined and created by management. These processes are relevant to all activities in which the team is involved.
• Improving technical understanding of company security technologies.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Power BI, MS office suite
• Experience writing law enforcement documents is preferred
