Typical Day in Role
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge;
• Assist in the development of the Operational Resilience program by planning sessions to determine GBM Canada critical business services, impact tolerances, process mapping and vulnerability remediation efforts;
• Participate with the team in working with the business lines and internal stakeholders in understanding the regulatory framework and developing systems and processes to ensure compliance;
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, and progress reports to stakeholders, including senior management;
• Attend program meetings, develop meeting minutes, and serve as program secretary;
• Provide and maintain project related documentation including meeting minutes, risks & issues logs, project plans, and task lists;
• Administrative duties include folder organization and calendar management;
• Assist with stakeholder engagement, participation, and management through organization of workshops, and tabletop exercises;
• Prepare operational resilience related materials for exercises, committees, crisis task forces, and working groups (external and internal);
• Assist with audit requests for information, and remediation efforts for GBM operational resilience and business continuity;
• Assist Manager of Operational Resilience with other administrative duties as required;
• Understand how the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions;
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with our values, Code of Conduct and Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligation with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk;

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 2-4 Years of relevant Coordination Experience
• Experience within Operational Resilience (OSFI E-21 experience an asset)
• Knowledge of and exposure to project management
• Advanced computer skills particularly with MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial industry
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Prior FI Experience an asset
