Business Systems Analyst
Job Description:
As the Ivalua S2P Senior Configurator, you will play a key role in Procurement’s ongoing digital transformation, specifically around our new global Ivalua S2P (Source-to-Pay) platform. For our in-production Ivalua I2C (Intake-to-Contract) modules, you will act as our lead configurator, and as part of our in-flight Ivalua P2P (Procure-to-Pay) implementation, you will ramp up on in-progress configurations during our current deployment phase, and then act as lead configurator in our subsequent deployment phases. As part of your job, you will work with various global stakeholders (primarily in North America and Asia), including leaders, business & technical SMEs, IT partners, vendor partners, and others. Your ultimate measure of success will be the successful configuration, internal & external adoption, use, and continuous improvement of our new S2P platform & workflows.
Key Accountabilities:
DURING P2P IMPLEMENTATION:
• Participate in all implementation phases & activities as required (e.g.: Requirements, Design, Construct, Testing, Deploy, Change & Comms, Supplier & Catalog Enablement, Go-Live, etc.)
• Act as primary contact for knowledge transition from external SI (System Integrator) and Ivalua during current P2P deployment phase
• Lead P2P Design and Configuration activities for subsequent deployment phases
• Suggest & champion P2P platform / config / workflow best practices
• Partner with project leadership & others to collectively achieve project objectives
• Help internal & external stakeholders succeed with our new P2P platform & workflows
ONGOING (I2C + P2P):
• Act as Senior Configurator for any new Ivalua S2P projects, upgrades or significant enhancements
• Act as internal solution consultant on S2P workflows (e.g.: analyzing business/functional requirements, documenting specifications, translating into optimized Ivalua configurations, etc.)
• Provide guidance and expertise to other internal Ivalua configuration staff
• Manage testing and technical releases for all internal enhancements and changes
• Act as the primary S2P platform Administrator/Developer/Configurator in Production
• Act as the config lead for Ivalua upgrades; perform impact analysis of changes and new functionality
• Act as primary interface between Global Procurement & the Ivalua teams we work with
• Coordinate with other key internal partners as needed (e.g.: S2P Program Lead & Product Manager, Director Global P2P, internal Ivalua configuration team, various global leadership stakeholders, IT partners, etc.)
• Stay current on Ivalua product releases & roadmap
• Stay current on Ivalua certifications
• Stay current on industry S2P configuration best practices, etc.
• Ensure a positive user experience & stakeholder satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies & regulations
• Lead others (direct and/or matrix) as needed
Qualifications:
• Previous experience implementing Ivalua S2P (S2C + P2P), ideally across multiple countries or globally
• Previous experience configuring Ivalua S2P, ideally as a lead configurator
• Expert Ivalua S2P workflow knowledge + previous experience optimizing configurations
• Ivalua Functional certification: Minimum L2 Config; L3 S2C + L3 P2P (or working towards) an asset
• Previous experience with the following:
o SQL
o Creating, configuring and running ETLs and EAIs
o Ivalua-developed APIs
o cXML configurations with suppliers
• Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information, and make informed recommendations
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including written, verbal and visualizations / presentations
• Strong planning and organization skills; can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Relevant accreditation (e.g: in Procurement, Supply Chain, S2P certifications, etc.) an asset
• Experience with Agile methodology an asset
