Typical Day in Role:
• Performs technical analysis, design, build and deployment of highly complex / scalable API Platform.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for Apigee Proxy deployments and testing.
• Develop, support, and troubleshoot proxy flows, templates, and security features.
• Facilitate automations in migrating Apigee Edge deployments to Apigee X.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal and external teams to accomplish project success.
• 100% Back-end role
• Tech stack: Java, JavaScript, XML, network policy, APIs
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 8+ years of experience as a developer
2) 4+ years’ experience with Java/JavaScript
3) 3+ years’ experience with API development and back-end service side development
4) 3+ years’ experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads using tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions etc.
5) 1-2+ years’ experience with cloud architecture, components, and implementation use cases, preferably on GCP
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Experience with Enterprise Integration/Middleware Solutions
2) Experience with Security, Access Controls (IAM/OAuth/SAML etc.), Network level controls (SSL, TLS etc.), Error handling
3) GCP experience an asset

Bachelors in technical field
