Senior z/OS Connect & IMS Systems Programmer

We are seeking an experienced Senior z/OS Connect & IMS Systems Programmer to support and maintain enterprise mainframe infrastructure within a large-scale z/OS environment. This role will provide hands-on systems programming expertise across IBM z/OS Connect, IMS and related mainframe technologies, working closely with engineering, application development and architecture teams. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support z/OS Connect and IMS infrastructure on z/OS Support z/OS Connect, IMS and related products Participate in the analysis, build, testing and deployment of mainframe system changes Provide technical support to Engineers, Business Analysts and Application Developers Troubleshoot system and application issues within the mainframe environment Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure and application development teams Participate in 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis Qualifications 5–10 years of mainframe systems and/or application experience Strong understanding of IBM mainframe, z/OS components and architecture Knowledge of SMP/E, OMEGAMON and System Automation Exposure to Sysplex, z/OS Performance, Db2, CICS, MQ and TCP/IP Assembler and COBOL knowledge is an asset Performance analysis experience is an asset Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills College/university education or equivalent relevant experience
