• Project: The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the Payment Modernization Project. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and implement a new internal payments platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, project management, and payment systems.

Typical Day in Role
• Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the payment modernization project.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the new payments platform.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge identified gaps.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users.
Must Have Skills:
• 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst (preferably with a Financial Institution)
• Knowledge of payment systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with capital markets.
Soft Skills:
• Proven experience in leading complex projects and driving business transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• ISO Knowledge is an asset
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
Best vs Average: The best candidate would be an experienced BA with knowledge of Payments Operations and products. Exposure to Capital Markets is required and ISO experience would be considered an asset. This individual would need to drive the project to ensure timelines are met.
