Role Mandate:
This Cloud Business Analyst will be a member of the Cloud Enablement team that is creating a path for technology partners to adopt cloud as an avenue for application delivery, while adhering to an efficiently structured and sustainable cloud operating model.
Role Responsibilites:
• Understands and can explain to others the core processes, risks & mitigation techniques for designated areas.
• Anticipates and reduces complexity for others.
• Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
• Assists in the preparation of end-user materials.
• Gathers requirements and documents these requirements for use in various audits, reports, & projects.
• Works with Core team and stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models via techniques such as reviews and walkthroughs.
• Creates documentation to ensure the supportability of analyses.
• Focus is primarily on business/group; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
• Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
• Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
• Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Key Skillsets:
o 3-5 years combination of technical and analytical skills –proficient in using business intelligence tools like PowerBI/Automate/Query (data analysis tools/Excel)
o 3-5 years creating reports, transforming, and loading data from various sources (Jira, ServiceNow)
o Comfortable with using formulas in both PowerBI and Excel
o Data Analysis – ability to identify trends, patterns and insights within data collected
o Theoretical Cloud Knowledge: AWS/Azure services/products.
o Understanding of the Cloud Control Matrix and the Shared Responsibility Matrix for Cloud applications/platforms
o Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
o Jira and Service Now experience
