Story Behind the Need
Business group: CBE CRM and Sales – Performance engineering team, part of Customer Servicing engineering in Digital, focused on providing solutions that assist front line staff across channels in deepening relationship with customers, providing better service and offering better products to them, and help improve sales & productivity along the way.
Project: Sales builder decom project – taking functionalities from sales builder and building across Salesforce – now looking at left over functionalities and moving it into Salesforce to fully decommission Sales builder
Candidate Value Proposition:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on application (Salesforce) that is used in every banking branch of Canada and is one of the largest apps in the Bank so is a high visibility project; possibility for extension; have the opportunity to work with Salesforce as it is a highly sought tool in the market, enhancing the contractor’s profile.
Typical Day in Role:
• Perform analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
• Serve as a liaison between users and developers to help resolve prod issues
• Perform health checks after releases to ensure functionalities have been deployed correctly
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 8+ years’ experience as BSA, preferably with at least 3-5 recent experience working within a large highly matrixed complex financial institution
2) Demonstrated experience having worked on a large project with a budget of over $5 million, with competing priorities with multiple stakeholders
3) 3+ years’ experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Suite
4) Experience working within an Agile framework
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Salesforce experience – experience with sub features of Salesforce a strong asset
2) Development experience – to have technical mindset in translating requirements
3) Project management skills – in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines

Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
MBA or other related advanced degree an asset
Agile/CSM certification an asset
Salesforce certification an asset

Ideal candidate at some stage in their career worked as a developer and has that technical mindset which will really help them hit the ground running, has used Salesforce in some capacity, cherry on top would be having worked with one of the large Banks in a similar capacity / type of project
