Business Analyst- Capital Markets x 2

Typical Day in the role:
• Soliciting and writing business requirements in response to the regulation
• Executing and creating test cases
• Defining business solutions for the requirements
• Building controls around the solution (process, database solution)
• Reading rules and understanding business requirement, writing test cases
• Interact with the following stakeholders: Technology group, compliance, legal and other business stakeholders (confirmations, settlements)
• 25-30% in meetings/ working groups to understand how everything comes together and overall impact

Must have skills:
• 3+ years of experience in G20/IIROC trade reporting
• 5+ years as a BA
• 3+ Capital Markets experience
• Excellent knowledge IIROC or equivalent trade reporting
• Well balanced understanding of regulations in business and technology

Nice to have skills:
• Experience with Anvil, GlobalOne or MMI Systems
• Prior hands on experience working with IIROC

Education:
• Bachelor degree, Post-secondary or relevant work experience

Best vs Average Candidate: The ideal candidate would be a BA with prior Regulatory experience. IIROC is preferred but any related systems would be prioritized.
