We are seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join our IT team within a leading institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing project requirements and specifications, particularly in an agile environment using the JIRA tool. The role involves defining and documenting comprehensive test cases, including test data preparation, ensuring the tests are aligned with client requirements.
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for implementing automated test cases using Java and Selenium technologies. The role also involves performing manual testing of various applications while identifying and tracking defects during the validation process.
Key responsibilities include:
Detailed analysis of project needs and specifications using JIRA to understand requirements and develop tailored test plans.
Defining detailed test cases and creating relevant test data using the Xray tool.
Implementing and maintaining automated tests with Java and Selenium to enhance testing efficiency.
Executing manual tests to validate application functionality across different environments.
Rigorously tracking defects from identification to resolution, in close collaboration with development and project management teams.
Participating in sprint planning meetings, providing realistic estimates for testing activities and risk management.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual, with extensive experience in test automation, a deep understanding of test management tools such as JIRA and Xray, and the ability to work effectively in a team. This is a hybrid role, allowing a mix of remote work and on-site presence as needed by the project.
