Typical Day in Role / Responsibilities:
• The team is looking for an experienced Salesforce developer/Solution Architect that is well versed in all facets of the Financial Services cloud, acting as a major contributor for solutions, workflows, data models and leveraging best practices to design, test, implement and support the solution.
• Work closely with Business stakeholders to integrate Technology with Business in the areas identified.
• Able to optimize and provide solution to business operations keeping both Salesforce CRM technology and Business needs in mind.
• Well versed in Global Banking and Capital Markets business, to recommend best technology solution and back it up by Proof of concepts.
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
• Must be comfortable working in an org with complex sharing rules and working with vendors to support managed packages.
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 10+ years software development with 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and deployment
– Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL, and understanding of SFDC and ability to implement applications across the Salesforce environments such as Force.com.
2. Proven work experience as a Solution Architect
3. 5+ years’ experience in financial industries primarily on Global Banking Markets & Capital Markets
4. Well versed with GBM Business knowledge and have experience in implementing technology solutions across several business lines
5. Completed at least 2 large scale integration projects using Salesforce
6. Hands-on experience with Lightning development, LWC Framework, Batch Processing, Process Builder, SFDC Web Services & APIs, Test Coverage Classes, and custom objects
7. 3 + years’ experience working with SOA
8. Experience with agile teams – understanding the mindset of working in an agile environment very important*
Nice-To-Have Skills:
– Salesforce Certifications – Salesforce Developer / Consultant / Architect
– Financial Services cloud experience is an asset (not a priority but appreciated if in addition to the above)

– Excellent communication skills to work across different business lines and with different users

– You must be comfortable with GBM & Capital Markets business partners and product owners while also being able to get technical with the team.

Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
