Typical Day in Role
– Develop Test Strategies for project delivery.
– Develop Test scenarios and queries for In-house developed application, DB level and E2E testing scripts
– Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
– Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
– Produce dashboards and reports for sprints or code releases.
– Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
– Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
– Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
– Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
– Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
– Create or maintain databases of known test defects
– Good understanding of testing standards and methodologies
Must Have Skills
1. 8+ years of hands on UI and Integration (back-end) testing experience
2. 8+ Prior FI experience required
3. 8+ years of experience in Test automation
4. 8 + years' experience JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git suite and managing test cases, test plans using Jira plugins like X-ray or Zephyr.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Prior banking experience – asset
• Some experience with Salesforce CRM. (writing and verifying results of medium to high complexity SOQL queries)
• Experience working on end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle projects
Degrees or certifications
– Bachelor's degree or diploma in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
Interview Process:
– 30 Minute MS Teams Interview. Behavioral panel interview with existing QA, Director, etc.
