Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Communications, Electrical, Computer, Information Technology or Network related discipline
Required Skills:
– Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in radio network design and optimization focused on 5G and LTE technologies for In Building systems
– Deep working knowledge and experience on different RAN technologies: HSPA/UMTS, LTE, 5G NSA/SA
– In-depth knowledge and hand-on skills with In Building Design tools (iBwave certification preferred)
– In-depth knowledge of various In Building DAS Architectures and Solutions
– Business acumen to assess value and impact from the work
Other Skills:
– Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
– Attitude focused on team success and improving customer experience
– Proven ability to put words into actions and ability to deliver results
– Ability to work in a ever-changing, competitive environment where priorities shift frequently
– Certification(s) in Agile framework and/or SAFe is preferred
Main Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze RF coverage inside public and private buildings
• Design new RF coverage and capacity solutions using In Building design software (iBwave)
• Design antenna configuration for new In Building sites & site upgrades (antenna selection, orientation, and SC6 compliance)
• Configure datafill & integrate new sites into the existing network
• Create Installation Work Orders to enable implementation of site solution
• Participate in the activation, optimization, and adjustment of new in-building systems to meet design criteria
• Analyze existing in-building systems performance and initiate improvements where required
• Produce required technical documentation to demonstrate impact on customer experience from introduction of new In Building site / site upgrade
• Acquire and maintain expertise related to available in-building system vendors, products, and techniques
• Identify automation opportunities and liaison with right team members to deliver automation capability in order to improve efficiency within Wireless Engineering and Operations
