Business Analyst – Power BI

Typical Day in Role:
• Work with the business to identify gaps and enhancements to the business instances’ knowledge bases and work with the development team to implement the changes.
• The incumbent is responsible for providing product/project/initiatives status to the product manager and management team and raising any escalated issues promptly.
• Participate in the product implementation by developing and documenting test cases, performing integration testing, raising defects, and providing end-user documentation for the product changes.
• Identify enhancements for Athena.
• Responsible for creating end users’ stories in JIRA or similar product management software to manage the Agile projects.
• Provide post-implementation support (Hypercare) by tracking, analyzing, monitoring, and reporting project and application-related problems and issues.
• The incumbent is an active contributor to designing sustainable DevOps. The Product analyst is required to come up with best practices and procedures.
• Must possess good listening and communication skills to work effectively with end-users and project team members.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 5-8 years of relevant work in or experience in delivering Technical Products/Business Solutions
2. 5-8 years of experience in conducting business analysis and documenting business requirements for medium to large-size projects.
3. 8+ years of experience in generating Power BI presentations from scratch and working with other Microsoft products.
4. 5-8 years of experience working with Systems and process knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Agile) and Project Management

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Prior experience in the following Business lines (CB, GBM, IB)
• Project management and business analysis certificate

• Excellent written and communication skills to clearly express concepts and ideas.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal direction.

The best candidate is a knowledgeable and experienced candidate who generates power BI dashboards and a person who can drive projects in a critical state with tough deadlines and work with different teams. The best candidate must have the ability to push for any deliverable without missing deadlines.

Education & Certificates:
• Post-secondary education is required but would be preferred in a related field.
