Job Description

Role Overview Lead a major Treasury and Capital Markets transformation focused on moving FX and money-market operations from ION to Murex. This role owns the program end to end, provides senior-level oversight, and drives delivery toward the December 28, 2026 migration deadline. This is a 12-month hybrid contract with a 37.5-hour work week. Extension and conversion to full-time employment may be possible, depending on business needs. Key Responsibilities Program leadership: Set strategic direction for cross-functional teams and keep delivery aligned with business and technology objectives. Vendor management: Own vendor deliverables, outcomes, dependencies, and accountability. Stakeholder engagement: Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and other partners. Risk management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; escalate critical issues and drive timely decisions. Executive communication: Set clear expectations and communicate progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes across business and technology stakeholders. Quality assurance: Ensure deliverables meet applicable standards, industry practices, and regulatory requirements. Priority management: Manage changing priorities and formal change requests affecting scope, schedule, resources, or budget. Required Qualifications 10+ years of project or program management experience. Hands-on Murex experience. Strong Treasury and Capital Markets experience. Demonstrated executive presence and proven delivery leadership on complex initiatives. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications ION platform experience. Experience delivering programs within a leading bank or financial institution. Post-secondary education. PMP or an equivalent project-management certification. What Success Looks Like The strongest candidate combines hands-on Murex knowledge with deep Treasury and Capital Markets expertise. They are a proactive delivery leader who can influence decisions, build trust at every level, and move a complex program from planning through execution.
