Typical Day in Role
• Improving the iTrade app, and improving the rating of the application
• Working on redesigning our banking clients Wealth Management experience for high wealth clients.
• Product designer role, with more responsibilities than just UI/UX design, but being thoughtful about product strategy. Will consider the bigger picture beyond functionalities.
• Reviewing requirements with the product owners, the business, and the technical partners. Based on these requirements, build out user flows and prototypes.
• Collaborate with digital accessibility specialists, design systems team, platform teams, mobile and web teams
• Delivering a deign that can be tested by real people, used and refined based on feedback, and then documented and sent off for further development
• Being a part for our banking clients Digital community and participate in the program’s member perks. Will be active in the group community beyond the immediate scope of their duties.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of human centered design principles
o 8+ years of experience designing responsive web and/or native mobile software applications.
• Proficiency in prototyping software (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
• Ability to communicate using rapid visual design techniques.
• A demonstrable portfolio of work (professional and personal) which showcases the projects you have worked on and includes examples of your story-telling skills, from low-fidelity sketches through to detailed designs.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience in the financial industry is an asset

Degrees or certifications:
• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Factors, HCI, Design or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
