UI/UX Designer
Location Address: WFH (Toronto when on-site)

Story Behind the Need
• Business group: The Commercial Payments and Engineering group within the bank manages the Business Baning Technology ecosystem across multi-stream systems and applications.
• Project: The group will be supporting the Business Banking Onboarding within Commercial Banking
• Reason for request: Project
Candidate Value Proposition
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage multiple initiatives throughout the SDLC cycle, gaining exposure to multiple bank streams
Typical Day in Role
• Create intuitive, data-driven, human centered website and app designs (UI mock-ups, wireframes, UX design)
• Conceptualize engaging interactions and create prototypes – experience with Sketch, Invision, etc.
• Champion usability and perform quality control on designs
• Work directly with a team of Designers, Product Managers and Developers
• Explore, experiment and improve on the upcoming redesign
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 3 – 5 years’ experience as a UI/UX Designer
2. Recent exposure to a Salesforce Project
3. Excellent grasp of general design principles, understanding of best practices and contemporary design patterns validated with a stunning portfolio of work comprised of high-quality user interfaces and thoughtfully considered case-studies (Should be added as an attachment to submitted profiles)
4. 3 – 5 years’ experience working on Responsive web pages across multiple platforms using current tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, Zeplin, Protopie, Invision) with journey mapping, wireframes
5. Understand and can design to WCAG accessibility standard, proven through completed work
Nice-To-Have Skills:
– Experience with big 5 banking client with Canvas / React elements experience is a big plus
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
