UC Network Solution Engineer

Story Behind the Need:
The Global Network Engineer and Design group is seeking a UC Network Solution Engineer to support the telephony network integration for merge and acquisition and existing production environment, this role involves PoC, design, deploy, migration and support Cisco CUCM (on-perm and/or cloud), Cisco Expressway, Emergency calling and SIP Trunks.

Typical Day in Role:
• On call rotation may be required (every 4 weeks for escalations only)
• Provide the design patterns, MoP, Security Design Document (SDD), Low Level design Document (LLD), presentation for Architecture Review board
• Gather the system information and business requirement and provide a solution design
• Execute the CUCM cluster upgrade and migration
• Create the baseline configuration and template for implementation and operation, provisioning, and massive roll out or migration
• Conduct the PoC (Proof of Concept) for new product and produce the assessment and reports;
• Test and evaluate Turret trading system and call recording system to integrate with Cisco CUCM and Oracle SBC, ECB;
• Migration of Cisco softphone client
• Migration of PRI to SIP Trunk
• Design and Implement the network and voice monitoring and diagnosis tools;
• Develop the operation document for end user onboarding and offboarding

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1) 8+ years of experience required Network/Engineering design and deployment related in a medium to large corporation or enterprise network
2) Work experience required Cisco Certified Network Professional in data and voice
3) Strong knowledge on SIP protocol RFC standards
4) 5+ years of hands on experience on SBC products (Oracle, Cisco)
5) 5+ years of hands on experience on Cisco CUCM, Expressway, Jabber MRA related to integration, design, deployment and migration
6) 5+ years of experience on call routing design and management
7) Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
8) Ability to provide business analysis and financial cost analysis

Nice to Have Skills:
• CCIE certification a plus
• Knowledge on compliance/regulatory requirements
• Azure Cloud/AWS Cloud experience

• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
