The successful candidate will have the opportunity to: collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, internal technical teams, and the external vendor to execute test cases for the UAT phase of technology implementation for the Conflicts Management program. The role will involve development of documentation such as test execution plans, test scenarios and test cases, in addition to test execution alongside the Business team
Typical Day in Role:
•Conduct information gathering workshops with the Business, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the project team to gather required input for test planning and execution
•Analyze business requirements and design documents to develop a comprehensive test structure and associated test cases
•Develop test plans and protocol, ensuring all test plans created adhere to both regulatory and industry regulations
•Work closely with key stakeholders from the Business to ensure all test documentation are well understood and align with expectations
•Gain awareness of business application and validate requirements against user expectations
•Execute test cases within project timelines
•Document test results and evaluate results to determine defects
•Assess and update test plans and documentation
•Update test suite repository with modified test files
•Participate in discussions with the vendor and project team to ensure that the system is providing valid outputs
•Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. At least 8 years of experience as a Test Analyst professional, with proficiency in eliciting and documenting UAT test plan and execution documents
2. Experience evaluating third party vendor applications against business requirements and processes to determine suitability
3. Experience in the Financial services industry; specifically, with monitoring programs for a Control Room or a Personal Conflicts team (such as information barriers, watch and restricted lists, personal trading, and outside business activities) and associated technology implementations
4. Experience working with Visio, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and Confluence
5. In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
