Job Posting Title: Training Specialist – Level 3
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 12 months
The Training Specialist, Level 3, will be required to provide training services regarding the provincial Case and Contact Management (CCM) system and provide other training plans for PHS and PHUs. In addition, this resource will provide application and product training to both technical and non-technical users, as well as developing, designing and delivering training material to both technical and non-technical users
Development and Preparation of Public Health Unit (PHU), end user Training Materials to reflect all of the new activities regarding the provincial Case and contact Management (CCM) system, the expanded business scenarios that will be implemented, new training modules, and the unique needs of the PHUs
· Development, maintenance and preparation of Public Health Unit end user training materials in various formats (presentation, document, video etc.)
· Create and update required self-paced e-learning modules
· Prepare detailed training plans
· Train the PHU users using multiple channels (in-person, video conference, web casting etc.)
· Prepare on-line help as required
· Assess, define, implement, and monitor documentation management practices as required and appropriate for the project, in conjunction with applicable Ontario Government standards, including template design and maintenance; version and change control; naming conventions
· Provide advice as it pertains to training for the integration of the provincial Immunization Repository and the CCM solution
· Participate and provide feedback on the planning and design of solutions in support of infectious disease public health activities, including infectious disease case, contact, and outbreak investigation and management, immunization administration, and vaccine distribution and delivery (inventory)

Technical Skills – 35%
10+ years of experience with:
· Development and preparation of Public Health Unit (PHU) end-user Training Materials to reflect all of the new functionality in new releases, the expanded business scenarios that will be implemented, new training modules and the unique needs of stakeholders
· eDevelopment, maintenance and preparation of Public Health Unit end-user training materials in various formats (presentation, document, video etc.)
· Creating and updating required self-paced e-learning modules
· Preparing detailed training plans
· Training PHU users using multiple channels (in-person, video conference, web casting etc.)
· Preparing on-line help as required
· Assessing, defining, implementing, and monitoring documentation management practices as required and appropriate for the project, in conjunction with applicable Ontario Government standards, including template design and maintenance; version and change control; naming conventions.

OPS/Healthcare Experience – 5%
· Experience working with federal/provincial/broader public-sector healthcare providers
· Knowledge of the provincial immunization system and OPS large complex IT Health related projects or equivalent
· Experience with integration of Clinical IT Systems such as Client and Provider Registries
· Knowledge of OPS Enterprise Architecture artifacts (or similar), processes and practices, and ability to produce technical documentation that comply with industry standard practices
· Knowledge of industry standard such as Project Management Institute (PMI)
· Experience adopting and adhering to OPS Unified I&IT Project Methodology, OPS Enterprise Architecture and OPS Gating process, and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies
