Technical Team Project Manager
DUTIES
- Manage all aspects of project management from discovery through delivery implementation and stabilization:
- Create and manage project plans, charters, schedules, budgets, quality, communication, resource and risk management plans
- Provide the direction required to meet the project objectives and commitments
- Analyze and make decisions on projects, considering project benefits, scope, cost, schedule, and quality
- Prepare reports regarding status of project
- Ensure appropriate management of stakeholders throughout the project
- Manage work packages and change requests
- Responsible for Technical Team budget and monthly forecasts
- Manages risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
- Collaborate with the IT PMO to ensure compliance with project standards, processes, tools and methodology
- Work with the XT Program Tech Lead and System Integration Architect to ensure compliance with engagement processes and business partner requirements
- Oversee integration of the agile or waterfall team’s deliverables with the project at large, as well as how deliverables may have touchpoints in related sub-domains
- Lead or play a key role to drive coordination between the business stream and the delivery stream
- Ensure global project reporting requirements are delivered to the Planning & Intake team in collaboration with the Project Management Office (“PMO”) such as the reporting of project status of actions, issues, risks
- Ensure all groups are being provided with timely and accurate project information
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Must Have:
- Project Management: experienced in managing projects/programs; comprehensive knowledge of project/program management methodologies and tools, including Agile methodologies – 5+ years
- Financial Management: strong understanding of key concepts of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, ROI development etc. – 5+ years
- Experience managing large, complex investment budgets – 5+ years
- Delivery methodology: knowledge and experience in agile / scrum / iterative Development and waterfall – 5+ years
Nice to have:
- Familiar working in IT projects
- PMP certification or Scrum master certification or equivalent
Soft Skills:
- Facilitate and encourage collaboration and work as one team. Encourage agile approaches and ability to iterate to create innovation
- Ability to navigate through uncertainty and lead change within the organization
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to present and facilitate meetings with large diverse audience
