SuccessFactors Talent Specialist
Typical Day in Role:
• Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefit and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification program.
• Evaluate job positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary.
• Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining personnel records and handbooks.
• Prepare reports, such as organization and flow charts, and career path reports, to summarize job analysis and evaluation and compensation analysis information.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 5-7 years of experience in HR or customer service-related field
2. 3-5 years of configuration experience with SAP SuccessFactors
3. 2-3 years of configuration experience with Recruitment, Performance, Succession and OMP
4. Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices (i.e., equal employment opportunity and affirmative action)
5. Must have standard Business Analyst skills
o Gather requirements from business units and working with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Previous exposure to the banking industry/financial services
• SAP SuccessFactors certification is an asset
• Bilingual in English and Spanish would be an asset
• Experience with agile methodology
Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Education/Experience:
• Post-secondary degree
