Job Title: Sr. Business Consultant/ Business Analyst
Duration: 3 months
Location: Toronto
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Work with various stakeholders in coordinating and validating appropriate information pertaining to project milestones
• Participate in the monitoring and controlling of various activities including resource planning, strategic planning and performance management
• Provide outside analysis of resource plans and be able to articulate why the plan is effective and efficient
• Support strategic management efforts to make recommendations and provide appropriate feedback in regards to creating more efficient and more cost effective approaches
• Research and document stakeholder needs in accordance with the Project Life Cycle (PLC)
• Gather and synthesize information pertinent to their assigned deliverables, as well as provide detailed analysis on the implications of said information
• Recommend feasible business solutions that tie in with business objectives and strategy
• Act as a self-directing, autonomous resource in planning and managing time frames associated with project milestones
Must-Have Skills:
• 8-10 years of true business consulting experience in a large, enterprise level environment
• 8-10 years of extensive experience with resource and portfolio planning
• Broad and diverse experience in business analysis and business consulting, financial management, project management and vendor management
• Ability to build relationships in a relatively short period of time
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent information gathering and research skills
• Strong MS Suite skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of vendor engagement and RFP processes and ongoing vendor management processes
• Familiarity with Project Management processes and PMP methodology
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• PMP
• Previous Client experience, or experience working at a Big 4 in a similar capacity.
