Duration: 6 months
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Support the implementation process, primarily testing activities. The test requirements would cover various aspects of the risk system, including: trade & market data mappings, various risk measures calculations and aggregations, as well as the related reports and workflows.
• Participate in writing of detailed test plans and creation of sample data required to perform the related tests cases
• Perform the testing across the entire testing cycle to ensure business requirements are met
• Be proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions
• Effectively and efficiently integrate data and processes from the CC BASEL system to the SACCR system
• Track and report the testing results
• Assist with writing of business requirements
• Assist with documenting of procedures, control processes, and policies relevant to internal controls
• Consult with stakeholders to understand the detailed line-of-business and/or risk objectives
• Continuously improve understanding of subject matter relating to Counterparty Credit Risk monitoring and Basel III RWA / capital calculations
Must-Have Skills:
• 8-10 years of technical business analysis experience (depending on the candidate submitted)
• Participation in mid-scale/large IT development projects, with hands-on experience in conducting testing
• Ability to write test cases based on existing business requirements documents
• Ability to create mock-up data required to test the pre-specified cases
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, SQL, Database Concepts
• Strong understanding of OTC and exchange-traded derivative products
• Broad understanding of risk management methodologies
• Broad programming experience (Python is preferable)
• Experience in using work tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, HPQC)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in a large financial institution
• Extensive Capital Markets background
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are a MUST
• Ability to articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to work effectively with both the business and technical side
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and translate technical requirements into business language and vise versa
• Strong planning and organizational skills
Educational Requirements:
• Advanced university degree, preferably in a quantitative field, such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering.
Professional Certifications:
• CFA, FRM, PRM designation or working towards one of those- especially important for the more junior candidates that will possess less industry experience
Interview Process:
• Round one: in person, 60 minutes, with HM and other team members
• Round two: in person, 30-60 minutes, with supervising manager
Interview will focus on some of the following:
• Excel skills
• SQL skills
• Industry experience (CCR, OTC, etc.)- depending on the experience stated on the resume
