Senior Salesforce Developer

Position Overview The successful candidate will not only have the opportunity to gain valuable experience at a top 5 Canadian bank, but also the opportunity to work with cross functional teams. The candidate will be working hands on with some of the latest banking technologies and forward thinking in fast paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. • Build and maintain Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, integrations and custom applications. • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Owners and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. • Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and middleware platforms. • Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews and technical planning activities. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring platform stability and performance. • Follow secure coding practices, DevOps standards and organizational governance requirements. • Continuously improve platform capabilities by leveraging new Salesforce features and industry best practices. Required Qualifications • Significant experience working within a Big 5 Bank or equivalent financial institution. • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience with enterprise-scale implementations. • Extensive experience with: Financial Services Cloud (FSC)Sales CloudService Cloud • Strong hands-on expertise in: Apex DevelopmentLightning Web Components (LWC)SOQL/SOSLSalesforce FlowsPlatform Events and Integration Patterns • Experience building and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms. • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and role hierarchy. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments and DevOps practices. • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and Jira-based project management. • Mandatory Certification: Salesforce Administrator Certification (Required) Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Platform Developer ISalesforce Platform Developer IISalesforce Application ArchitectSalesforce System ArchitectSalesforce Integration ArchitectSalesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited ProfessionalSalesforce AI Associate / AI SpecialistSalesforce Sales Cloud ConsultantSalesforce Service Cloud Consultant Soft Skills • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment. • Adaptable, self-driven and focused on continuous improvement.
