Senior Manager, Enterprise Portfolio Management
Typical Day in Role:
• Create and manage a portfolio view of all initiatives and supports the triaging of next set of business use cases.
• Acts as a main point of contact for the CIDA as the DPMO, responsible to plan, develop, manage, track and report stakeholder engagement on Enterprise Data Investments.
• Lead and collaborate with Business Line CDOs, CIDA Finance and other CIDA teams to achieve strategic agenda and report business outcomes.
• Responsible for the end to end view of Enterprise Data Investments through the Enterprise Delivery Framework.
• Perform Project Governance across CIDA initiatives by following EDF & SIP Policy Requirements/Standards.
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Creates an environment that pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls.
• Supports the Director, Enterprise Portfolio Management, who provides daily oversight to the
Portfolio Management team, along with ongoing guidance, coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Ensures all Delivery requests are handled accurately and efficiently to ensure excellent customer service.
• Reviews all areas of the operation to ensure optimal staffing levels on various initiatives by leveraging DO Engagement database and Resource Tracker, while providing a high level of product support and customer service.
• Review CID&A Operational Metrics and looks for ways to streamline existing procedures and KPIs to achieve operational efficiencies and improve customer service, while minimizing risk to the Bank.
• Ensures documentation and procedures are updated to reflect changes in requirements.
• Ensures timely submission of accurate management information to the Bank’s senior executive.
• Makes prudent/informed decisions within assigned limits and escalates any exceptions / issues along with recommendations and/or solutions to senior management including the Enterprise Data Committee (EDC), as appropriate.
• Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams.
• Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management, Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
• Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 10+ years of Portfolio Management experience and understanding of financial impact/budgeting
2. 8+ years of Project Management experience with knowledge of data management processes and best practices
3. 8+ years of experience with Management Lifecycle end to end (Provide examples)
4. Previous experience with CA-PPM and SmartStream
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Previous exposure to the banking industry/financial services is preferred
o Knowledge of CIDA structure and operations is a plus
• Working knowledge in Spanish
• Experience with PowerBI

Education:
• Post-secondary degree in Data Analytics or Finance preferred
