Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: WFH (once on site – Toronto)
Contract Length: until Oct 29, 2021 (potential for extension)

Story Behind the Need:
Business Group: Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to help design, develop and implement PCF cloud based online banking application for customers in the Caribbean region. This developer will be working with a SME (Toronto), and team of offshore developers (Dominican Republic, India) to develop and implement the application.

Typical Day in the Role:
– Design, develop, and implement cloud based applications, using in-demand languages and technologies (e.g. React Js, Node Js)
– Design, develop and implement PCF cloud based online banking application for customers in the Caribbean region
– Work with a SME (Toronto), and team of offshore developers (Dominican Republic, India, etc..) to develop and implement the application
– Front-end (React) vs Back-end (Node) work will be 70 / 30

Must Have Skills
• React Js (Front-end) – 5+ years of hands on experience
• Node.js (Backend for front-end layer), preferably ExpressJS – 5+ years of hands on experience
• HTML, CSS, Typescript – 5+ years of hands on experience
• Experience with Accessibility (implement accessibility related functions onto app – code, etc.) – 5+ years of hands on experience
• Working with authenticated and customer focused applications – 5+ years of hands on experience

Nice-To-Have
• Prior FI / Banking experience preferred
• Prior work experience with bank

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal), Interacting with Product, Design, Front-end and Back-end Teams

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
