Senior Database Administration

Location Address: Toronto
Contract Duration: 6 months with possibility for extension or Convert to FTE

Business Group:
Seeking a Senior Database Administration to provide on-going support and quarterly PSU vulnerability patching of Wealth Management databases. Primarily will provide continued support Dundee databases for Cognos BI, CDW/FDW, Personal Trade Assistant (PTA) projects.

Candidate Must Have Requirements:

Qualifications/ Must have:
1. 8 – 10 years of experience with database administration support including following areas:
Oracle Installation
2. 5+ years of prior work experience using Database creation and upgrade of Oracle database versions 19c
RAC (Real Application Cluster) – setup, configure and support
3. 5+ years of prior work experience with Automatic Storage Management (ASM) – setup, configure and support
4. 5+ years of experience with Data Guard– setup, configure and support
5. 5+ years of experience with Security and Auditing, Database performance and tuning, Database replication tools, Database upgrades/migrations
6. 5+ years of hands on experience with Data Guard– Database replication tools, setup, configure and support
7. familiar with Oracle Exadata -please specify in what capacity and in which past employer – in Skills Matrix/summary/and resume
8. Familiar with OEM/Grid Control (13c) -specify in what capacity, and in which past employer

Soft Skills:
1) Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal
