Senior CMDB Architect
As the Senior CMDB Architect, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of all on-prem and cloud CI’s in the CMDB across all structures such as PaaS, CaaS, IaaS, and SaaS. If you are passionate, persistent and detail oriented with an ability to clearly articulate an objective view of the IT asset inventory, associated risks, and opportunities to enable business decision making, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
• Document, develop and maintain the technical design of the ServiceNow CMDB architecture to meet the current and anticipated scope while maintaining CMDB integrity
• Proactively identify functional gaps and technical deficiencies and recommend solutions
• Evaluate enhancement requests, provide design recommendations, and document technical requirements
• Ensure solution design and process consistency and continuity across the CMDB
• Design and implement solutions, which may include or require client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, workflows, and automation
• Design, implement, and manage the integration of the CMDB with other systems that receive CMDB data
• Participate in ServiceNow upgrade planning, testing, and validation
Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years CMDB experience with designing / developing technical solutions
• In-depth understanding and background in CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Performance Analytics
• Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the integration solutions, including ODBC, REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSL, etc.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and training as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives
• Excellent organization skills and an ability to develop and implement plans for transforming issues / requests to completion
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple activities
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences

• Confident presentation and facilitation skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills to enable engagement with senior management and stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to identify and lead initiatives which develop, implement, and improve processes, procedures and governance
