Recruiter
Typical Day in Role:
– Source and recruit candidates for our call centres in Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax (monthly classes of 30 new hires in each location)
– Working with a team to ensure recruitment numbers are met within deadlines
– Responsible for sourcing the best talent and delivering exceptional candidate experiences.
– Pre screen candidates, complete assessments, coordinate final interviews with business line, offer management
– 25 requisitions per recruiter at any given time (will be working in a team to fill all three classes each month)
– Managing the onboarding process (creating offer letters, tracking backchecks, following up for documentation)
– Required to actively source candidates through indeed, job fair etc.
– 50% recruiting/ interviewing candidates, 50% administrative functions
– Provide market intelligence to your business, functioning two steps ahead to stay proactive
– KPI’s: Ratio between number of pre screens, final interviews, assessments, and offers (they track their own numbers), 100% fill rate
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1.1- 2 years of progressive recruitment experience in a high-volume/ fast paced environment (agency or corporate)
2. Experience with full cycle recruitment process, including onboarding
3. Basic Excel skills
4. Experience in behavioural interviewing techniques
5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
2. Prior experience with Job Fairs and public recruitment events
