Job Title: QA Tester (SAP Payroll) X2

Story Behind the Need
• Business group: HR Tech – Quality Assurance is seeking 2 experienced QAT SAP Payroll resources who will be required to provide ongoing support for payroll, while working closely with internal BAs (specialized in payroll), business stakeholders, executives and 3rd party Vendors. The QAT SAP Payroll resources will be expected to have strong testing experience and strong Payroll knowledge/experience. The functions of the QAT SAP Payroll will be to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.

Typical Day in Role
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience with SAP Payroll HR/HCM
2) Expert Payroll knowledge of wage and hour payroll practices– 3+ years of hands on experience
3) Experience in various Infotypes in PA30, personnel actions using PA40 and payroll process (experience with all 3 is mandatory)-3+ years of hands on experience
4) Ability to work with integration functionality between Payroll and Finance postings – 3+ years of hands on experience
5) Strong experience in covering SAP QA Management – 5+ years of hands on experience
6) Strong Microsoft Excel skills – 5+ years of hands on experience
7) Experience testing software (HP ALM preferred) – 3+ years of hands on experience
8) Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports – 5+ years of hands on experience
9) Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing – 5+ years of hands on experience
10) FI/Banking Industry experience- 3+ years
11) QA Testing (manual is fine, but automation is preferred)- 5+ years of hands on experience
12) Strong communication skills – verbal and written
13) Management experience – managing changes as they come, identifying gaps, having discussions with other teams and Executives – 3+ years of hands on experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
– Intermediate level SQL skills is an asset
– Experience in SAP success factors is an asset
– SAP HCM Certification
– Agile experience
Degrees:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
