QA Analyst/Engineer

Typical Day in Role
• Developing testing strategies and test execution including End to end echo system
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Perform test execution and present roadmap as needed.
• Test system modifications for areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen and database validations
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Develop, maintain and communicate (stakeholder presentation) delivery status, KPI and metric scorecards, quality checks and knowledge management solutions.
• Ability to produce dashboards and reports

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills
• 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience
• 3-5 years of experience with SQL or/& SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language)
• Extensive test process knowledge with regards to test cycles, releases and test types (system, integration, end-to-end, User Acceptance Testing), and the Software Test Life Cycle
• Proven experience in the creation of end to end test scenarios and plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates

Nice to Have Skills
• 3-5 years of experience in testing Salesforce platforms with an understanding of SF architecture

Soft Skills
• Strong diagnostic, analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies

Education
• Bachelor’s degree or related field experience
• Salesforce certification is a plus
