Story Behind the Need:
• Project Summary :
The QA Analyst is responsible for the testing phase of the UAT and production process of all GWMS systems and applications. The QA Analyst identifies if systems and applications are functional, reliable and meet the set expectations as per business requirements reflected in test plans, test scripts and automation testing.

Job Responsibilities:
– Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
– Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
– Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
– Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
– Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
– Create or maintain databases of known test defects
– Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
– Collaborating across business lines
– Will be building net new code, as well as enhancements on existing code

Must Have Skills:
1. At least 3 years of prior work experience Selenium and Java – hands on experience
2. At least 3 years of prior work experience of front end Automated frameworks
3. Manual testing experience – testing web applications
4. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
5. The candidate must have 3+ years’ experience working within the Canadian financial/banking industry
6. Ability to create test plans, write test cases as per system specifications, Execute test scripts using bank approved testing tools

Soft Skills:
• The candidate MUST have excellent verbal and written communication in English to clearly explain issues to all stakeholders

Education
Qualifications: Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
