QA / QC Test Analyst / Engineer

Typical Day in Role:
• Development of test plans, test data and test cases and executing these against the various components.
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
• Provide advice for remediating accessibility issues
• Write and execute accessibility test cases.
• Analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 5+ years as a previous QA – preferably within the accessibility domain
2. Knowledge of WCAG 2.0/2.1
3. Extensive experience with manual accessibility web testing
4. Experience using Web Accessibility Evaluation/Automation Tools
5. Knowledge of assistive technologies used for web browsing

Soft Skills Required:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Self-motivator; able to grasp concepts quickly with minimal supervision, take ownership of problems and follow them through to completion.
